Information portal for LGBTQI+ migrants now online!

An international information portal for migrants and refugees from the LGBTQI+ community has been launched as part of the European @nclusion project. The project partners have developed a platform designed to make it easier to access reliable information on local support in six partner countries.

The information portal is one of the activities of the project “@nclusion – Supporting the integration of LGBTQI+ migrants at local level”. Wrocław Municipality, represented by the Wrocław Centre for Social Development, is taking part in the project.

How does the portal work?

The main purpose of the website is to bring together information on public services and social initiatives available in Poland and in other partner countries. Particular attention has been paid to Wrocław. Thanks to the contact database, users can quickly find institutions and organisations that offer specific forms of support.

The database contains verified information and contacts in areas such as:

  • Legal assistance and social support;
  • Healthcare and psychological support;
  • Integration activities and support groups for LGBTQI+ people;
  • Education and the labour market.

The portal has been designed with user-friendliness in mind. Users can easily filter the available information by:
• Partner country – the portal contains information on Poland, Spain, Germany, Italy, Greece and Cyprus;
• Language;
• Area of support – which makes it possible to quickly find the information needed, for example only on legal assistance or healthcare.

Language accessibility

To make the portal easier to use for people who do not speak the language of their country of residence, the information on the platform is available in English and in the languages of the largest migrant and refugee communities in each country. We have translated information about support in Poland into five languages: Ukrainian, Belarusian, Russian, Polish and English.
