What should local integration policy look like? – consultation report

Line drawing of two hands, each holding a jigsaw piece; the pieces almost fit together.

What should local integration policy in Wrocław look like? Residents of our city were asked this question last year during a public consultation. We invite you to read the report summarising the consultation.

The consultation concerned the principles of the City of Wrocław’s intercultural integration policy. Its aim was to gather the views of Wrocław residents on how to respond to current challenges of intercultural integration.

The topics discussed included the education and intercultural integration of children and young people, the participation of migrant and refugee communities in the life of the city and local communities, and the resolution of intercultural conflicts.

Views were gathered through an online form, during workshops for secondary school students and at round-table discussions held during the Dialogopolis’22 Intercultural Education Days.

We would like to thank everyone who took part in the consultation. We agree with most of the views expressed, and they will be taken into account in drafting a new policy document.
